Recover WordPress even when WordPress is down.

WP Agent Bridge Recovery creates a separate, encrypted SFTP/FTPS path for emergency file repair when a fatal plugin error, broken theme or REST/API outage prevents normal management.

Independent of WordPress

The Recovery channel does not depend on wp-admin, the REST API or the normal Bridge connection being healthy.

Credential-safe

Hosting credentials are encrypted before storage. SSH host keys or FTPS certificate fingerprints are pinned to prevent silent server substitution.

Recoverable writes

Recovery operations use allowlisted paths, SHA conflict checks, backups and rollback instead of unrestricted shell access.

How setup works

Start Recovery setup from your WP Agent Bridge installation or Cloud account.
Open the one-time setup link and enter your hosting SFTP/FTPS credentials.
The wizard finds the WordPress root, creates the site-specific Recovery policy automatically, prepares the backup area and pins the remote server identity.
After setup, Recovery remains available for future fatal errors without uploading setup files again.

Security boundary
Plain FTP and unrestricted shell execution are not supported. Recovery is intended only for sites you own or administer with permission.

A Recovery setup link is site-specific and short-lived. If you do not yet have one, create it from the WP Agent Bridge plugin or Cloud onboarding flow.
